For more than a century, the host Organising Committees have put in place an Art Poster initiative in collaboration with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to celebrate the Games.
This initiative, part of the Cultural Olympiad, offers artists a unique creative opportunity to participate in shaping the collective memory of the Games by producing a collection of original artworks that convey the Olympic and Paralympic values in images.
Now it’s time for Paris 2024 to present its Art Posters. For the first time in the history of the Games, eight artists were invited to produce diptychs combining an Olympic poster and a Paralympic poster.
The creations of Adam Janes, Clotilde Jimenez, Elsa & Johanna, Fanny Michaëlis, Gilles Elie, Pierre Seinturier and Stéphanie Lacombe look at sport today through the eyes of an artist, at its values and what makes the Paris 2024 Games so special.
The concepts of inclusiveness, parity, celebration and innovation were particular points of focus as cornerstones of Paris 2024, which aims to leave an original cultural and artistic legacy of this edition of the Games.
We invite you to discover these posters that bear testament to a wide variety of artistic expression: photography, illustration, painting, collage and sketching.

Les Affiches artistiques des Jeux de Paris 2024 exposées quai de la Mégisserie du 1er juin au 1er juillet 2023
Pour la 33ème édition des Jeux, Paris 2024 et son président Tony Estanguet ambitionnent de placer la Culture au cœur du projet des Jeux.
Dans cette optique, l’Olympiade culturelle, développe en collaboration avec le Comité International Olympique (CIO) 14 affiches artistiques qui expriment, par l’image, les valeurs olympiques et paralympiques.
Pour la première fois dans l’histoire du programme des Affiches, sept artistes ont été invités à réaliser des diptyques composés chacun d'une affiche olympique et d'une affiche paralympique.
Quai de la Mégisserie dans le 1er arrondissement de la capitale, Adam Janes, Clotilde Jimenez, Elsa & Johanna, Fanny Michaëlis, Gilles Elie, Pierre Seinturier et Stéphanie Lacombe portent leurs regards d’artistes sur le sport d'aujourd’hui, sur ses valeurs, et sur ce qui fait la spécificité des Jeux de Paris 2024.
Ce corpus d'oeuvres qui réunit une grande diversité d'expressions artistiques fait écho aux ambitions de Paris 2024 : promouvoir l’inclusivité et la parité, tout en célébrant l’innovation et l’excellence !
